Offset Printing The single color and two color offset presses handle a significant amount of Rapid Print's work, as offset printing is more economical than digital equipment for larger quantities, where digital equipment just cannot compete price wise. These late model presses have many improvements over the earlier models: improved inking and feeding systems that reduce spoilage; more safety devices; faster speeds and with the new digital plates, the fountain chemistry and the inks are more environmentally friendly. |
